Honesty is the best policy. Yet, that’s not how a lot of today’s generation thinks. Some surveys suggest: 2 out of 3 teens has lied to an adult, teacher or parent in the past three months. 1 out of 3 teens has cheated on an exam or evaluation in the last 3 months. 1 out of 6 teens say they’ve stolen money or other possessions in the last 3 months. Over half of all youth believe lying is sometimes necessary. Where have we gone wrong that so many people are in the habit of being dishonest?
