Causes of Unbelief - Part 1

In Exodus, we read of Moses and Aaron telling Pharaoh, “Let My people go…” (Exodus 5:1). Pharaoh answered, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go” (Exodus 5:2). As we look at Pharaoh, we may wonder what caused his unbelief? Upbringing, pride, lack of evidence, rebellion, greed? Today, we want to think about those, like Pharaoh, who have no inclination to believe the Lord and understand the causes for this unbelief.
